Unit of measure ****** is not defined:This error occurs only for EA

Hi Experts,

Please help me in resolving the issue,I face while creating a Material with Base UOM = EA.

I had created a zprogram that calls the  BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA. I was successful in creating/extending  more than 100 materials for various plants.

However,I get error from BAPI  as Unit of measure ****** is not defined.This occurs only for the material that has Base UOM = EA.

I used the conversion FM   CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT as well in my code

MARA-MEINS passed to cliendata and its corresponding X to cleintdatax

MARM-MEINH passed to unitofmeasure and its corresponding X to untiofmeasurex,

Let ,me know, what i missed here.
