Hi Experts,
Can store.flush updates the local created entity with the key? I don't see that store.refresh refreshes the with new entries (if exists) in the backend, but I want my locally created entry need to be updated as my the local record will have temporary key assigned(within the program) where as when it sent to backend new number(key) will be generated.
Is there a way to update the local created record? or delete from the local record if flush was successful.

I have been working in Powerbuilder tech for last 10 year and now I find myself at a cross road to upskill myself as jobs have dried up in UK for powerbuilder projects. I have got another year before I hit the job market. I am totally confused as which direction should I go. Java world or .net side. Most companies in UK are moving away from PB product and jobs on offer are with little dev work and more of patch work. It looks only dev work happening in PB is in US.

I am unable to find "Create Slide Option" in my tools ribbon of my BO Analysis for Office Excel. I am trying to export my chart output from office excel to MS Office Analysis for Power Point to show case it as presentation. I have checked out all the possibilities in settings but could not get any clue.

Now i would to add these fields inside the form of the sales quote.
Using Easy Form Editor is not possible to add custom fields.

I have a question regarding security and configuration.
In my DEV environment I designed a procedure _SYS_BIC.<SCHEMA>:: SP_MAX_DATE.
I use this SP in my Calculation View to generate a default Value for the Date Input Parameter (Derived From Procedure Parameter Type).
**This functionality works correctly in DEV
Using ALM, I transported the model to our QA environment. I can see the SP exists and is being referenced - but it does not generate the default Date the way it does in DEV.
To me it seems like a security/configuration issue - where somehow the SP is unable to be called?
But I don't really know how to fix it or where to look.
Any suggestions? I greatly appreciate your help.

Hello LVM community. I have LVM 2.1 SP6 with hostagent 721/sp11 up and running. I have two areas where I am not able to resolve. I have two sap tickets open but not getting support. My first issues is
1. Occasionally we need to stop and start the LVM server for system /server maintenance. When we stop and start we have to manually re initialize monitoring in all 300 instances and my Task does not seem to work after the restart stating that the task id have been deleted. I have to recreate a new task and re add the systems. . AM I missing a step when stopping and restarting LVM? Does LVM have a way of maintaining or reconnecting to all systems after a restart?
2. My second issue is that LVM/Hostagent/sapdbctrl seems to time out on some of my hana systems especially mult-node systems. Single node systems its a hit or miss but multi node it happens consistently (timeout)

when I am importing receipts from credit card buffer , Error in DRAG_SOURCE_INFO is coming in portal and in backend it is resulting into dump.

We just started to implement Predictive Analytics at our client side and I am unable to connect to the server via the Remote Client 2.5 tool or through Model manager 2.5. I can login into model manager but when i try to connect to a server I cannot do it
Even if i enter the right credentials and the right host names i cannot connect to the server. I used both the hostname and host IP but niether of them work
I am not sure where i have the error. I checked my admin credentials in the model manager and it does have access to connect to servers.

We have issues when transporting ESR objects between repositories from Development to Production environments.
Production ESR is completely empty and we want to transport namespaces individually (with their objects). Initially, first importing creates the SWCV with all namespaces (namespace definitions) and the indicated namespace with their objects. Why are all namespaces created?
On the other hand, if we need to transport a new namespace and this namespace definition does not exist in Production, the objects are not created. In order to "see" these objects, we have to create manually the namespace in Production system, so their objects are visible in that moment. Other times, even namespace is created, objects transported are not visible...
We have refreshed caches (ESR and full), but problem continues... What could we check? Could it be a bug?

Von SAP habe ich zu dem Thema eine 10-seitige PDF aus Januar 2011 gefunden, in der beschrieben wird, dass man für unterschiedliche Rechtsbereiche natürlich eigene Konten anlegen kann und über eine Finanzberichtsvorlage dann auswählen kann, welche Konten ausgewertet werden.
Allerdings ist dort auch die Rede von manuell zu erstellenden Buchungen bzw. einer (manuellen) Bearbeitung jeder einzelnen Transaktion.

First, I'm relatively new to PI and I'm sure there is an easy way to deal with this. I have to interact with a web service and of course every message is wrapped in a namespace:Envelope. If I define a message type for both the request and the response they are both going to be Envelope but have different schemas. Since the message type has to have the name match the top element, this means I have to have two different Envelopes and that isn't allowed. How do I get around this? Seems like there should be a way to use a message type with a name different that what will be in the actual XML.

My scenario is
Goods reciept of production order is done and the material is in warehouse. we do random checks and find product that needs to be reworked. we want to create a standalone rework order without any link to parent order. The reason is we don't know the parent order.
My proposal is
1. create rework order without material - co07
2. consume any component that needs to be used for repair
3. confirm the order to record any time/labour
Do you see any issue with this process? the only problem I encounter with this approach is each time I create a co07 order, I need to provide costcenter/settlement rule in production order screen. is there a way to automate this?
In our system we have notes that users type in. This data is extracted to our database as 1950 char for each line. So, the first line (line 1) will be 1950 char and then once this limit is reached it drops to line 2, etc...How do I get Crystal to display the whole note (all of the lines) ? I can set the report to display line=1 and I get all of data in line 1 but I don't get any other lines, I can set it to line =2 but then I don't get line 1, etc....

Tengo la siguiente Búsqueda Formateada en el campo Precio Unitario en la Oferta de Ventas, que se debe alimentar de un campo de usuario (U_PV_PVPREFERENCIAL) que traerá el precio de una tabla de usuario según ciertas condiciones que se deben seleccionar en el documento o de la lista de precios asignada al Socio de Negocios, pero no esta actualizando automáticamente, es decir debemos crear el documento y volver a ingresar para que actualice el precio, que no debería ser.

We have the requirement to show all SuccessFactors Todo-Items also in the SAP Portal Unified Worklist.
I know, there is the ODATA webservice enitity "Todo", that returns all Todos for the currently logged in user.
To use this, we need to use OAUTH2 for login.
As far as I figured out it is possible to create connectors to collect data from different systems to the UWL - I guess, this could work.
But, in our current architecture actually all interfaces are routed over SAP PI. The Portal is actually not allowed to access the SuccessFactors over the internet.
All our interfaces in SAP PI are using the SFSF-Adapter - which works great.
Unfortunately, you can only use User and Password in the SFSF-ODATA Adapter and there is no option to pass a SAML token.
This means I can only use a "technical interface user", instead of the currently logged in User.
Any ideas or workarounds would be helpful,

We are using NWBC and not the portal roles. We have a requirement where changes are required in home tab in the role menu.
User wants to remove certain sub sections or change their description or URL. For example there is one option "FAQs" under documentation section of home tab, they want to rename this. Since this section is common among various roles,is it possible to edit the details at one place so that changes get reflected in all concerned roles.Or will I have to edit each role?
